Leading Legal Scholar John Yoo of UC Berkeley Law Joins WLF’s Legal Policy Advisory Board
(Washington, D.C.)—Washington Legal Foundation (WLF) and the Chair of its Legal Policy Advisory Board, Jay B. Stephens, are pleased to announce that Professor John Yoo of the University of California, Berkeley School of Law has joined WLF’s advisory board.
John Yoo is the Emanuel Heller Professor of Law at UC Berkeley Law. His areas of expertise include administrative law, constitutional law, national security, and international business transactions. He is also a Nonresident Senior Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute; a Member of Pacific Legal Foundation’s Board of Directors; and Distinguished Visiting Scholar, School of Civic Leadership and Senior Research Fellow, Civitas Institute, at the University of Texas at Austin. Professor Yoo has written over 100 books and scholarly articles and has worked in all three branches of the federal government, including serving as a law clerk for Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and D.C. Circuit Judge Laurence Silberman.
