After having issued only 11 opinions thus far, the justices face another 23 arguments and the drafting of numerous highly consequential opinions. Our panelists will discuss several outcomes from October Term 2025’s first half and preview the second half with a focus on cases that impact free enterprise, economic liberties, and the separation of powers.

Yaira is a Partner with Sullivan & Cromwell where she serves as Co-Head of the Supreme Court and Appellate Practice. She joined the firm from the Office of the Solicitor General in the Department of Justice, where she argued six cases before the U.S. Supreme Court and briefed more than 100 others, spanning diverse areas of federal law such as copyright, bankruptcy, tax, labor and employment, federal contracting, the First Amendment, and jurisdiction. Yaira served as a law clerk to Justice Elena Kagan (U.S. Supreme Court), Chief Judge Sri Srinivasan (U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit), and Chief Judge James E. Boasberg (U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia). She has also co-taught the Supreme Court Litigation Clinic at Stanford Law School and a Supreme Court Seminar at New York University School of Law.

Corbin is TechFreedom’s Internet Policy Counsel and Director of Appellate Litigation. He clerked for the Hon. Steven D. Merryday (M.D. Fla.) and the Hon. Robert H. Cleland (E.D. Mich.). After his clerkships, he became an associate, and later a partner, in the Los Angeles office of Browne George Ross LLP, where he engaged in high-stakes complex litigation. He also served as Washington Legal Foundation’s Senior Litigation Counsel.
