  • Dan is a Managing Director at BRG. Prior to joining the firm, he was Valo Health’s Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel. Previously, Dan was the General Counsel of GlaxoSmithKline from 2008 until 2018. Before that, he was a partner in the FDA practice at Sidley Austin, which he joined after serving as FDA Chief Counsel. He practiced constitutional, administrative, and appellate law at Wiley Rein and Fielding, served in the Office of Legal Counsel at the US Department of Justice, and clerked for DC Circuit Judge Robert H. Bork.

  • CZ is Executive Director of the Informed Patients Project. He is uniquely aware of the powers of transparency in health care. He was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in 1993 – before there was a single treatment available to slow the progression of his disease.  CZ has thirty years of experience in public policy and the private sector. Formerly, CZ served in the federal government as Communications Director for the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) under President Trump’s first administration, and Chief Communications Officer for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). CZ also served in the legislative branch as Press Secretary for Congressman John Boehner, Communications Director for the Chairman of House Leadership, Bill Paxon, and Press Secretary for Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott.
