(Washington, D.C.)—Washington Legal Foundation (WLF) and the Chair of its Legal Policy Advisory Board, Jay B. Stephens, are pleased to announce the appointment of Reginald R. Goeke, a partner with Mayer Brown LLP, to WLF’s Board.
Reginald serves as co-leader of Mayer Brown’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Commercial Litigation practices. In November, National Law Journal recognized him as a “Litigation Trailblazer” for his work securing a defense victory in a $600 million ERISA jury trial. Reginald represents national and multinational corporations in a variety of industries, with an emphasis on the financial services industry, in federal court and before a variety of federal agencies.
“We are honored that Reginald has joined our Advisory Board,” said WLF Executive Director Glenn Lammi. “He will bring a unique perspective from his trial and federal-agency representation of national and international businesses. Reginald also understands very well that legal victories for the cause of free enterprise can be achieved not only in court, but also through educating policy makers on the bench and in regulatory agencies,” Lammi added.
WLF’s Legal Policy Advisory Board includes over forty distinguished professionals from the business, legal, academic, and public-policy communities who serve on a volunteer basis.
Celebrating its 46th year, WLF is America’s premier public-interest law firm and policy center advocating for free-market principles, limited government, individual liberty, and the rule of law.
