Douglas R. Cox is a partner in the Washington, D.C. office of the law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He served in the Department of Justice’s Office of Legal Counsel for five years, becoming Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General during the George H.W. Bush Administration.
