Richard A. Samp
Rich joined WLF in 1989. He manages WLF’s original and amicus litigation activity. Rich drafts and files WLF briefs in federal and state courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court before which he has argued. Prior to WLF, he was a civil litigator with the Washington, D.C. law firm of Shaw, Pittman, Potts & Trowbridge. He is a graduate of Harvard University and the University of Michigan Law School and clerked for federal Judge Robert E. DeMascio of Detroit.
