Morgan is a member of Sullivan & Cromwell LLP's Supreme Court and Appellate Practice. Prior to joining the Firm, Morgan served in the Office of the Solicitor General at the U.S. Department of Justice. During her tenure there, she argued eight Supreme Court cases involving areas of federal law such as securities regulation, bankruptcy, employment, intellectual property, criminal law, and elections law. Morgan clerked for Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr. and Judge Brett Kavanaugh of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
More about speakerChris is a partner with Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP where he serves as co-Chair of the National Appellate Practice . His practice focuses on complex legal issues at all stages of litigation, with a particular emphasis on appellate and Supreme Court matters along with high-stakes trial briefing and argument. He has argued 11 cases in the U.S. Supreme Court. Chris worked previously in the Office of the Solicitor General at the U.S. Department of Justice. He clerked for Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr. and for D.C. Circuit Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh.

Having argued over 85 appeals, she focuses her practice on the Supreme Court and courts of appeals. Jess served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Martha Craig Daughtrey of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the Honorable Rebecca Beach Smith of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
