(Washington, DC)—Washington Legal Foundation (WLF) is pleased to announce the hiring of attorney Zac Morgan as Senior Litigation Counsel.
Zac arrives at WLF after completing four years as counsel to Commissioner Allen Dickerson of the Federal Election Commission (FEC), where he gained invaluable experience in Administrative Law. Before arriving at the FEC, Zac litigated First Amendment issues for eight years at the Institute for Free Speech, where he represented clients before all levels in federal and state courts—from initial complaint to petitions for certiorari before the U.S. Supreme Court.
Zac graduated, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from The George Washington University, where he majored in Political Science. He went on to receive his J.D. from George Mason University’s School of Law, where he participated in GMU’s Wiley Rein Supreme Court clinic. Before law school, Zac worked as a correspondence analyst in the Office of Legislative Affairs at the U.S. Department of Justice.
“Zac brings immense enthusiasm and expertise to WLF’s demanding litigation practice,” said Cory Andrews, WLF’s General Counsel and Vice President of Litigation. Glenn Lammi, WLF’s Executive Director and Vice President of Legal Studies, echoed those sentiments: “Zac’s sharp legal mind is a perfect fit for our Litigation Division.”
Celebrating its 48th year as America’s premier public-interest law firm and policy center, WLF advocates for free-market principles, limited government, individual liberty, and the rule of law.
