(Washington, DC)—Washington Legal Foundation (WLF) is pleased to announce the hiring of Saad Gul as Senior Litigation Counsel.

Saad joins WLF after having served as a partner at Poyner Spruill LLP in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he practiced appellate litigation before both state and federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court. He also acquired invaluable experience at Saul Ewing LLP and Steptoe & Johnson LLP, both in Washington D.C.

Saad graduated from Davidson College, where he majored in Political Science. He went on to receive his J.D., cum laude and Order of the Coif, from Wake Forest University School of Law. Immediately after law school, Saad clerked for both Justice Patricia Timmons-Goodson on the North Carolina Supreme Court and Chief Judge John C. Martin on the North Carolina Court of Appeals.

“Saad brings a wealth of talent and experience to WLF’s demanding litigation practice,” said Cory Andrews, WLF’s General Counsel and Vice President of Litigation. Glenn Lammi, WLF’s Executive Director and Vice President of Legal Studies, echoed those sentiments: “Saad will be able to hit the ground running, and we are delighted to welcome him to our team.”
