Bernard Nash

Bernie is a Member of Cozen O'Connor where he serves as Co-Chair of the firm's State Attorneys General practice area. He has cultivated an unsurpassed understanding of the State Attorneys General world over his 50-plus years of practice. Bernie advises clients on how to successfully navigate and manage AG scrutiny and oversight in investigations, settlements, and litigation. He has represented some of the largest and most significant national and international companies, including Fortune 50 companies, across a wide range of industries such as financial services, telecommunications, technology and software, retail, energy, automotive, pharmaceuticals, and agriculture.

Jerry W. Kilgore

A former Virginia Attorney General and Virginia Secretary of Public Safety, Jerry offers his clients facing State AG and other governmental investigations the benefit of counsel with 360-degree perspective, gained through a combination of private practice, government service, and political involvement. His distinguished political career has afforded Jerry connections at all levels within State AG offices, and bi-partisan respect within the AG community. While serving as Attorney General, Jerry was chairman of the Republican Attorneys General Association. He was also an assistant U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Virginia from 1987 to 1992.

Mira E. Baylson

Mira is a Member of Cozen O'Connor. She has broad knowledge of, and familiarity with, state attorneys general (AGs) offices and other government agencies, which she brings to bear when advising corporate and individual clients on a wide range of legal and regulatory issues, particularly related to intersection of civil and criminal government enforcement. A seasoned trial attorney, equally effective in state and federal court with several successful jury trials under her belt, Mira has been named one of Pennsylvania’s Super Lawyers Rising Stars. Earlier in her career, she worked as a public defender in Philadelphia and tried more than 100 cases to verdict.
