Case Detail

Cypress Semiconductor Corp. v. Yourman
On November 5, 2001, the California Court of Appeal dismissed the suit, holding that a plaintiff's lawyer cannot be held to have acted in bad faith in filing a securities law class action based solely on evidence that a company's stock price declined following the company's failure to meet financial projections. WLF has promised to support the plaintiff's appeal to the California Supreme Court. On January 16, 2002, the California Supreme Court denied futher review.
