On March 17, 1997, the U.S Supreme Court denied review of a lower court decision that allowed the United States Government to avoid liability for certain foreseeable and direct damages when it reaches its contract with a private party. WLF filed a brief with the Court on February 10,1997, urging it to review and reverse the decision.
